TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Eduroid AI mobile application (“Eduroid AI” or the “App”), operated by Hanova (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
1) ELIGIBILITY
Eduroid AI has no minimum age restriction.
However, if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must use the App under parental or legal guardian supervision.
You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2) DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Eduroid AI provides AI-powered educational tools including but not limited to:
- Text summarization
- Question generation
- Flashcard creation
- Study note structuring
- AI-assisted content analysis
The App may display advertisements and may offer paid premium features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.
3) USER ACCOUNTS
You may use the App via:
- Email and password authentication
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple
- Anonymous login
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You may delete your account and its associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the App, or through eduroid-ai.web.app/delete. Account deletion is permanent. Where you signed in with Apple, the corresponding Apple authorization is revoked as part of the deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse AI usage limits
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service
4) USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of content you upload (PDFs, text, images, audio).
You grant the Company a limited, temporary license to process such content solely to provide AI functionality.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own, or have obtained all necessary rights, licences and permissions to use and to submit for AI processing, every PDF, document, image, photo, audio recording and text you upload
- Your content does not violate the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party
- Your content does not contain unlawful material
The App does not supply third-party copyrighted material; all content processed by the App is content you provide.
You remain solely responsible for your content.
5) AI-GENERATED CONTENT DISCLAIMER
AI outputs are generated automatically by machine learning systems.
We do NOT guarantee that:
- Results are accurate
- Information is complete
- Outputs are free of errors
- Generated content is suitable for academic or professional use
AI results may contain inaccuracies.
You are solely responsible for verifying information before relying on it.
The App does not provide professional, legal, medical, or academic certification advice.
6) SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by the store you installed the App from:
- Apple App Store (StoreKit) on iOS and iPadOS;
- Google Play Billing on Android.
We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and to activate the premium entitlement on your account.
The following applies to all subscriptions:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown at the time of purchase.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings after purchase.
- We do not store or process payment card details.
- Cancellations, refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
If you cancel a subscription, premium access typically continues until the end of the paid billing cycle.
We reserve the right to change pricing; price changes apply to future billing periods and are subject to the notice rules of the relevant store.
7) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App does not display advertisements and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
The App relies on the following third-party providers to operate:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, messaging, analytics, crash reporting)
- Google Gemini API (AI processing)
- RevenueCat (subscription and entitlement management)
- Apple App Store and Google Play (payment processing)
These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their products, availability or independent practices.
8) PROHIBITED USE
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Upload illegal or harmful content
- Attempt to bypass AI credit limits
- Reverse engineer the App
- Interfere with security mechanisms
- Use automated systems to extract data
Violation may result in account termination without notice.
9) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All App branding, design, code, structure, and proprietary systems remain the exclusive property of Hanova.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, modify, or replicate the App
- Use trademarks without permission
- Create derivative works based on the App
AI-generated outputs are provided for personal use. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable intellectual property laws when using generated material.
10) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Hanova shall NOT be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data
- Academic failure
- Business interruption
- Financial losses
- Decisions made based on AI outputs
The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) within the past 3 months.
11) DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
We make no warranties regarding:
- Service availability
- Accuracy of AI output
- Continuous or uninterrupted operation
- Error-free functionality
Use of the App is at your own risk.
12) TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time.
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the App ceases immediately.
- If you delete your account, your account data is permanently removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Certain legal provisions survive termination.
13) PRIVACY
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
14) CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will revise the “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
15) GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable international principles of commercial law.
If required by local law, disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Company’s jurisdiction.
